PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute single-value and multi-value level shift circuits by using a smaller number of transistors. SOLUTION: The output terminals of single-value level shift circuits 11a and 11b which have mutually different conductivity types are connected into the output terminal Vout of a bipolar voltage level shift circuit 17. A level shift voltage Vh is set higher than a level shift voltage Vl. When high-level input signals are supplied to input terminals Vhin and Vlin, Q13a and Q12a turn on and Q11a turns off, so that the voltage Vh is outputted to the output terminal Vout. At this time, the Q13b and Q12b turn off and Q11b turns on, so that the single-value level shift circuit 11b enters a high-impedance state to the output terminal Vout. When low-level input signals are supplied to the input terminals Vhin and Vlin, Q12b turns on, so that the voltage Vl is outputted to the output terminal Vout.
