The invention relates to a device for accommodating discoid information carriers. The inventive device is designed such that it can be folded open a nd is provided with a supporting element for the information carrier. The devic e comprises at least one detent button in order to fix the information carrier in a manner that is at least perpendicular to a disc plane. The detent butto n is provided with an insertion beveling in order to deviate a detent part of the detent button when the information carrier is pressed on in a manner tha t is perpendicular to the disc plane. The information carrier is supported at least in areas along the outer edge thereof. The detent button subjects the area of the outer edge of the information carrier to a force. At least one spring element subjects the information carrier, in the area of its edge, to the action of a force in a manner that is perpendicular to the disc plane. T he spring element is arranged in the area of the detent button. In a fixing state, the detent button fixes both the information carrier as well as the spring-tensioned spring element. The spring element is arranged in such a wa y that a spring tensioning is predetermined by a positioning of the informatio n carrier in a fixing position.
