The invention also relates to a method for producing an inorganic illuminant with an average particle size of not more than 1,000 nm. The invention further relates to a printing colour and an object which are provided with an inventive illuminant and/or an illuminant that is produced according to the inventive method and/or a mixture of two or more thereof. The invention also relates to a method for identifying an inventive object that is provided with an inventive illuminant and/or an illuminant which is produced according to the inventive method and/or a mixture of two or more thereof.
