PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to check, before its transmission, an electronic(E) mail to be transmitted on a specified transmission date. SOLUTION: A condition input means 1i retrieves user information concerned from a data base 1h in accordance with a condition for selecting the transmission destination of an E mail. An E mail generation means 1j generates an E mail by referring to the information obtained by the retrieval and stores the E mail in a prescribed area of a storage part 1g. A transmission date specification information reception means 1a receives the transmission date of the generated E mail and stores the date in the storage part 1g in relation to the E mail. A checking date specification information reception means 1b receives a checking date for executing a check before transmission and stores the date in the storage part 1g in relation to the E mail. A checking means 1c displays the contents of the E mail on a display device 2 to check them when the checking date arrives. A transmission means 1d transmits the checked E mail to a corresponding terminal through the network 3.
