PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of existing refrigerant piping and power lines (signal lines) by a constitution wherein transmission and reception of signals between indoor and outdoor units are conducted by radio communication, in an air conditioner wherein the units are connected by the refrigerant piping and the power lines (signal lines). SOLUTION: In a separation type air conditioner constituted of an indoor unit 12 and an outdoor unit 14, a transmitter 101 is connected to terminals 90A-90C of a terminal board of the indoor unit 12 and obtains operating power through these terminals, while it transmits a signal given through the terminal 90C to a transmitter 102. The transmitter 102 is connected to terminals 92A-92C of the terminal board of the outdoor unit 14 and obtains the operating power through these terminals, while it transmits a signal given through the terminal 92C to the transmitter 101. For the transmitters 101 and 102, the impedance is set so that the same state as that wherein signal lines are connected with the terminal boards respectively is reproduced in a false fashion. |
