PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a reception timing with high accuracy even when a received signal is detected in every direction at application of power or a signal incoming from a direction different from the directivity of a signal received during communication by providing a plurality of fixed directivities so as to disperse an interference signal. SOLUTION: Signals received by reception RF circuits 104-106 via antennas 101-103 are fed to a directivity separate circuit 107, where the signals are separated for each directivity. The separated signals are respectively fed to correlation units 108-110. Correlation outputs from the correlation units 108-110 are fed to delay profile generating circuits 114-116, where a delay profile is generated for each directivity. Information of this delay profile is fed to a discrimination circuit S117, which discriminates a timing of a highest reception peak power in the respective delay profiles to be a reception timing. Thus, the interference signal is suppressed to select an optimum path.
