COLD WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM BY ICE STORAGE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cold water supply capability with a simplified construction at the low cost in a cold water supply system with an ice storage system. SOLUTION: Return water from a tumbler chiller 113 is stored in a recover water tank 117, and ice particles are manufactured in an ice particle manufacturing apparatus 101 which receives supply of water in the recovery water tank 117, which ice particles are once stored in an ice particle storage apparatus 102 and are supplied to an ice particle/water mixing/melting apparatus 106 through an ice particle/ discharge/conveyance apparatus 103. The ice particle/ water mixing/melting apparatus 106 mixes the ice particles and return water from a load side, and manufactures cold water by making use of melting of the ice particles, which cold water is supplied to a tumbler chiller 113 (load). The return water from the tumbler chiller 113 after recovered into the recovery water tank 117 is supplied to the ice particle manufacturing apparatus 101 and the ice particle/water mixing/melting apparatus 106. With such arrangement cold water supply capability is improved.
