The system has a CPU and two terminals which are connected together by a bus. A voltage is supplied to the terminals at the time when no data are transferred via the bus and takes place in serial form under a code corresponding change of the voltage to the bus. The terminals in each case have specific supply equipment which takes over the voltage supply during data transmission.
