<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small-sized and economical gas-insulated switchgear. SOLUTION: An arc extinguishing chamber 12E of a single-break single-pole breaker 12, two disconnectors 10 placed on the left side of the chamber 12E and a disconnector 13 placed on the right side of the chamber 12E are housed in a horizontally placed cylindrical vessel 18, in which an insulating gas is sealed so as to have them on an approximately horizontal straight line. A bus-bar side bushing 16 on the left side of the vessel 18 and a line side bushing 15 on the right side of the vessel 18 are respectively inclined in the left and right axial directions, so as to maintain insulation distance between the bushings, even if the length of the vessel 18 is shortened. The length of the vessel 18 can be shortened, with only one vessel 18 being provided for each phase and a simple shape, so that the size and cost of the switchgear can be reduced. Power cables may be used in place of the bushings.</p> |
