PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation response, to widen the range of selection of materials for a fuse element and to reduce the manufacturing cost, as for a protective element provided with the fuse element on a base. SOLUTION: In a protective element 1 provided with a fuse element 4 in electrodes 3a, 3b, 3c on a base 2, the liquid phase point of the fuse element 4 is made higher than the mounting temperature of the protective element 1 and the solid phase point is made not higher than the mounting temperature of the protective element 1, and the difference between the liquid phase point and the solid phase point is made not less than 5 deg.C. |
