PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of rapidly feeding a film and charging a stroboscopic device by one power source after strobe-photographing, and whose mechanism is simplified so that the camera may be obtained at a low cost. SOLUTION: As for the camera, at the same time when starting the drive of a feed motor 22, the counting operation is started by a timer circuit 53, and after a lapse of fixed time, charging is started by a charging circuit 33. When a voltage level signal is inputted from a battery checking circuit 32, a voltage level judge value stored by a program ROM 51 is referred, and when the battery level of the power source 25 is within the extent unable to stably drive the feed motor 22 in the case of charging the main capacitor 43 in operation of feeding a film, the main capacitor charging operation is not executed in operation of feeding the film.
