摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the viscosity of coke that can be used for estimating the coke strength by measuring the frequency dependency of the complex viscosity coefficient of coal in softened and melted state and obtaining viscosity at an arbitrary shear speed from the value. SOLUTION: The frequency dependency of the complex viscosity coeff. of coal in softened and melted state is measured by a dynamic viscosity-measuring device that can measure dynamic viscoelasticity at a high-temperature in si-tu, and the softened and melted coal elasticity at an arbitrary shear speed is obtained from the dependency. When coal in softened and melted state is maintained at the maximum flow temperature, the coal is hardened since a thermo decomposition reaction advances and finally a volatile matter is lost, so that measurement is made rapidly after reaching a specific temperature. With this method, a complex viscosity coeff. at an arbitrary shear speed being measured by a dynamic viscoelasticity-measuring device can be obtained as a parameter for indicating the viscosity of the coal in softened and melted state, thus accurately evaluating the softened and melted coal viscosity as compared with before.
