PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically measure the volume of fluid by providing a tilting measure having two measuring parts, dripping liquid discharged from the inside of human body into the measure and detecting the number of tilting of the measure. SOLUTION: A tilting measure 104 is coupled with a reverse triangular measure 106 through a barrier wall 108 and tilting to the left and right about a shaft 110 inserted into a through hole made at a lower part of the barrier wall 108. The tilting measure 104 is contained in an enclosed resin container 112 and the shaft 110 is secured to the side face of the enclosed container 112. When the tilting measure 104 tilts to the left, a sensor 126 detects the light projected from the light projecting and reflected on the tilting measure 104 and when the tilting measure 104 tilts to the light, the sensor 126 does not detect the light. Consequently, tilting of the measure 104 can be detected based on the signal output from the sensor 126. Electric signal of the sensor 126 fetched in and processed in order to count the number of tilting times of the measure 104. Quantity of urine can be determined by multiplying the number of tilting times by the volume of one measure 106.
