<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the indoor unit of an air conditioner in which an electric accident is surely prevented from occurring by protecting the parts so as not to allow the waterdrop to adhere on electronic indication parts and a board, even if the base body holding the board gets wet with water. SOLUTION: This indoor unit posses an indoor heat exchanger accommodated in the unit body, a blower, a front drain pan 30 under the indoor heat exchanger, heat insulating material 35 arranged at the front wall of this drain pan, and an indicator part 37 arranged in the space between the front face of this heat insulating material and the front panel of the unit body, and the indicator is equipped with a board 40 where electronic indicator parts 41 are attached, a base body 42 which holds the board fitted in itself, and a cover which is pivoted freely of opening and closing in the opening at the front face of this base body and presses and fixes the board top the base body in condition that the opening is closed, and it is so arranged as to be pressed between the front panel and the heat insulating material.</p> |
