The interconnected frame elements consist at least on one side of iron profiled sections. The columns (2) and the cross members (3) are each made ready for assembly from sheet metal blanks which have been finished off prior to being angled. The longitudinal supports (1) are finished ready for assembly on at least one side. The frame elements are connected into a frame aligned to take up function elements (9,10). The longitudinal supports and columns are connected together by screws and tolerance pins (6). The columns which are made from finished sheet metal blanks are angled into box shape.
