A storage container, particularly for discs, and which comprises a body (12), a hinged lid (14) pivoted to the body, and a disc holder (17) pivotally mounted to the lid and body. The lid (14) has an endwall (22) acting as an abutment that engages the holder (17) after a predetermined rotational movement of the lid (14) relative to the body (12), and thereafter continued rotational movement lifts the holder (17) to incline the holder relative to the body. The body (12), lid (14) and holder (17), all being pivoted relative to each other by concentric pivot means (30, 31, 32).
