The invention concerns a novel zeolite and its preparation methods. Said zeolite is characterised by its X-ray diffraction pattern and its chemical composition in anhydrous state, which corresponds to the general formula Mx/n(AlO2)x (SiO2)y wherein 0</=x<y; M represents a proton or a metal cation having valence n, selected among the alkaline metal cations, the alkaline-earth metal cations and the transition metal cations. The invention is applicable to acid catalysis reactions, such as the transformation of methanol into olefins for hydroisomerisation reactions. |
