The combustion method uses material combustion within an eddy layer in a combustion chamber (1), provided at its base (3) with openings (4), supplied with combustion air via air chambers (8) and associated air jets (10), positioned below the closed parts (5) of the base, for indirect injection of the combustion air. An Independent claim for a material combustion device is also included.
