SUBSTRATE OF LCD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing LCD substrate is provided to prevent a surface unevenness of a passivation film owing to a step difference of the thickness of a deposited photoresist, by using a photo-type benzocyclobutene(BCB) passivation. CONSTITUTION: A photo-type BCB organic passivation film(155) is formed on an entire surface of a transparent substrate(110) where the first conduction film is formed. The photo-type BCB organic passivation film(155) is exposed and developed using a photo mask(100), thus exposing a part of the first conduction film. The photo-type BCB organic film(155) is etched during a predetermined time until the scum of the photo-type BCB organic film remaining on an exposed surface of the first conduction film is removed. The second conduction film is contact with the first exposed conduction film and covers a part of the etched photo-type BCB organic film.
