PURPOSE: A method for preventing an erroneous dialing of facsimile is provided to be capable of performing a normal dialing even when a main power is turned off while dialing. CONSTITUTION: A method for preventing an erroneous dialing of facsimile confirms a power-on state between a voice terminal, a non-voice terminal share-type interface device and a central processing unit if a communication path is established. If the voice terminal, the non-voice terminal share-type interface device and the central process unit are all at power-on state, the central processing unit transmits given data received from an operation panel to the voice terminal and the non-voice terminal share type interface device, and the voice terminal and the non-voice terminal share-type interface device performs a dialing according to given data received from the central processing unit. If at least one of the voice terminal, the non-voice terminal share-type interface device and the central process unit is at power-off state, the voice terminal and the non-voice terminal share-type interface device directly receives dialing information from the operation panel to perform a dialing.
