PURPOSE: A device for managing a subscriber card in a PBX(Private Branch Exchange) is provided to design a private control module managing each subscriber unit. Therefore, it is possible to reduce load on a main controller module. Also, it is possible to improve an entire capacity by dividing a subscriber card managing operation. CONSTITUTION: A line interface(400) is connected with each subscriber card accommodating an analog subscriber or a digital subscriber. The line interface(400) monitors the each subscriber card as a determined period, and accesses data of the each subscriber card. A driving module generates a signal for driving the line interface(400), and decodes the inputted data for outputting. The first memory stores data for controlling the each subscriber card, and downloads the control data as an on-line. A clock divider(140) receives a time slot assignment control signal and a frame pulse, and divides clocks necessary for each module. DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) transceivers(161,162) transceive a DTMF signal. The second memory stores the data as a word unit. A controller(110) controls the each module, and transmits state information to a main control module(200). The controller(110) performs an event control of the each subscribe card, and performs an on-line data download control to the first memory.
