PURPOSE: A personal computer ethernet frame analyzer using a packet device and a command and receiving packet processing method are provided to be adapted to a PC system having a universal type LAN card and quickly and conveniently perform a packet process using a single command input and analyze an ethernet frame at a short time and accurate time. CONSTITUTION: A command controller includes a portion for receiving and displaying an ethernet packet based on a function of a frame analyzer by receiving a command from a user interface, a packet capture processor for capturing a certain packet transferred on the ethernet and storing into a memory or a file, a packet filtering processor for separating a frame which includes a LAN card serial number, IP address or data, a packet transmitter for transmitting an ethernet packet, and file processor for processing the files. The packet drive interface includes a LAN card controller and a packet buffer management unit. The LAN card controller searches a packet drive loaded in the PC memory in a software vector of the PC OS and initializes the LAN card connected with the searched drive. The packet buffer management unit manages a buffer which stores the packet data and includes a packet buffer management function for transferring an ethernet frame with the command controller.
