PURPOSE: A system and a method for a table automatic operation is provided to perform an independent spread sheet application program, and to easily develop a word processor having a spread sheet function by performing a table operation with a private spread sheet engine, and to decrease source codes by dividing the word processor and the spread sheet engine. CONSTITUTION: A table management part(510) manages a table composed by a word processor. A spread sheet engine(520) has a sheet(521) for a dynamic operation work about the table, and operates the sheet(521) according to an operation request of the table management part(510), and transfers the operated sheet to the table management part(510). At this time, the table interface part(530) intermediates fixed data and an operation information between the table management part(510) and the spread sheet engine(520). The spread sheet engine(520) includes the sheet(521) and a backup sheet(522) storing an information about the table.
