PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high durability burner having a high thermal efficiency and a wide variable combustion range and to obtain a cooking stove having cooking performance. SOLUTION: A slit burner port group 20 made radially in an inclining face 19 is divided through a non-burner port section 22 into upper and lower burner ports 23, 24. Since the flame can be directed substantially right above and the non-burner port section 22 suppresses interference of flames formed at the upper and lower burner ports 23, 24, flame length can be shortened. Furthermore, durability can be enhanced because variation in the burner port slit width due to long time use can be suppressed.
