PURPOSE: Structure of a gear pump is provided to prevent locking of a gear by not delivering a connecting force between a body and a base to a gear fixing unit through a spring member between the upper end of a cover and the body. CONSTITUTION: Structure of a gear pump consists of: a base(21) supporting each component of a gear pump; a motor shaft(22); a bottom plate(23) having a suction port(23A); a gear unit(24) having an internal and an external gear interlocking by rotation of the motor shaft; a gear fixing unit(25) fixing the internal and the external gear; a cover(26) having a discharge port(26A) and a bearing portion(26B); spring members(27) inserted into a space between the cover and a body(28), preventing the gears from being pushed; and the body coupled with the base through O-ring portions(31). The spring members are mounted at both sides of the space between the cover and the body to prevent a connecting force between the body and the base from being delivered directly to the gear fixing unit. Therefore, locking between the internal and the external gear is prevented.
