The production of a glyceryl-based agent via catalytic lipases comprises selective esterification of 12-hydroxy-9-cis-octadecenoic acid and glycerine. The lipases in anionic-exchange or e.g. porous acrylic resins acquire a 50-400 Angstrom pore size and 10-150 m2/g specific surface. The product is the corresponding 12-hydroxy-0-cis-octadecenoate of 1-glyceryl.
