SULFONAMIDE DERIVATIVES

PURPOSE: Provided are novel sulfonamide derivatives represented by chemical formula 1 and herbicide compositions containing the same, which have superior herbicidal selectivity against various weeds with general application amount of 0.01¯ 10kg/ha. The sulfonamide derivatives are preferably mixed with additives or carriers for more effective applications. CONSTITUTION: The novel sulfonamide derivatives are represented by the chemical structure 1, where Ra represents hydrogen atom, halogen atom, C1¯C6 alkyl group, or C1¯C3 mono or poly haloalkyl group; Rb represents hydrogen atom, halogen atom, C1¯ C6 alkyl group, 1¯3 halogen substituted C1¯C6 haloalkyl group, C1¯C3 alkyl carbonyl group, or C1¯C6 alkoxycarbonyl group; Rc represents hydrogen atom, halogen atom, C 1¯C6 alkyl group, or C1¯C6 haloalkyl group; E is N or CH; X, Y, and Z are independently hydrogen atom, halogen atom, C1¯C6 alkyl group, C1¯C6 alkoxy group, C1¯C6 mono or poly haloalkyl group, or C1¯C6 mono or poly haloalkoxy group.
