PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke candle extinguisher which easily extinguish a smoke candle without danger and is also used as a traffic stop lamp. SOLUTION: The extinguisher for extinguishing a smoke candle Ha includes a bar-shaped grip part 2, a cylindrical extinguishing part 5 which has a bottom part 7b freely detachably bound to the grip part 2, an upper cover 10 which closes the open end of the extinguishing part 5, and a viscous extinguishing agent 17 filled in the extinguishing part 5. The grip part 2 is formed into a hollow cylinder, and a storage space V where the extinguished smoke candle Ha is to be stored is formed by its inner hole 4, and a freely attachable/ detachable bottom cover 13 is set to an end part of the grip part 2.
