PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast refractory containing zirconia in a high content, which has sufficient resistance to thermal shock and which is low in foaming property with respect to various fused-glasses. SOLUTION: The refractory contains, as chemical components, by weight, 88 to 95% ZrO2, 3.0 to 8.5% Sin2, 0.8 to 1.5% Al2O3, 0.05 to 2% Na2O, 0.05 to 0.15% B2O3 and Fe2O3, CuO and Cr2O3 in an total amount of <=0.15% and is substantially free from P2O5. |
