PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a standing-up state of a column over a longer period than usual by covering the whole outside surface area of a buried part of a cylindrical metallic column in a close contact state with a synthetic resin covering, and filling a foaming body inside the buried part in a close contact state. SOLUTION: The whole outside surface area of a lower end part of a cylindrical column 1 is surrounded by a covering 2, a foaming body 3 is filled inside the lower end part, and the covering 2 and the foaming body 3 are respectively brought into close contact with the whole inside/outside surface areas of the lower end part. An upper part of the lower end part of the column 1 is exposed on the ground, and a lower side part below that is buried in the ground and asphalt as a buried part 4 to stand up the column 1. Thus, since water does not stick to inside/outside surfaces of the buried part 4, corrosion can be prevented over a longer period than usual to improve durability of the column 1. |
