<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a clasp of a 2-split partial bed denture pinch a tooth by the operation of a lever to keep it locked while letting the clasp follow the reversing operation of the lever to release when it is removed. SOLUTION: A clasp provided on one side of an artificial tooth 1 is split in two and one inching piece 31 of the clasp is so arranged to be rotatable with respect to the other pinching piece 3 and a lever 5 is mounted on the artificial tooth 1 to turn the rotatable pinching piece 31 centered on a support shaft 4 thereof. The side of the support shaft of the lever 5 is formed at a cam part 51 which is provided with pressing parts 51a and 51b to press the rotatable pinching piece 31 so that it is turned in normal or opposition direction during the rotating operation of the lever 5. The rotatable pinching piece 31 is provided with the parts 31a and 31b to be pressed which let both the pressing parts 51a and 51b contact respectively corresponding to the pressing parts 51a and 51b of the cam part 51.</p> |
