PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound which is a fluorescent coloring matter excellent in fastness, especially excellent in light stability, emitting light from blue to yellow and being used for coloring various kinds of resins, coating materials, inks etc., dyeing fibers and a dye laser, a fluorescent collector, a scintillator or the like. SOLUTION: This new compound is expressed by formula I [wherein X1 and X2 are each an electron attracting group; B is a (substituted) pyridazine ring] and is e.g. a compound of formula II. The compound of formula I can be synthesized by the same method as a synthesis case disclosed in the patent application number H9-36,536. The fluorescent coloring matter emitting light from blue to yellow emits visible light of at least one color selected from the group consisting of blue, bluish green, green, yellowish green and yellow and emits light in the range of 450-580 nm. The fluorescence preferably shows the maximum at 480-550 nm, and the half band width preferably is sharp and 50-150 nm wide. |
