PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economically excellent device for rotating a coil at a specified position in a transfer line loaded with a plurality of coils without providing a drive source to each coil loading carriage, etc. SOLUTION: A device consists of rotary rolls 2 loaded to a chain conveyer 1 and a connecting drive device 3 loaded on a fixed base 31. The rotary roll stopped at a prescribed position is rotated by absorbing a stop position deviation of the chain conveyer 1 through the mutual guide mechanism of the fin arranged to a roll end and the pin arranged to the tip of a spindle 39 of the drive device 3, and imparts rotary drive power to a coil 4 to rotate it.
