PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fitting for external-facing material and exterior wall structure easily installed onto the wall body of an external facing material even in vertical sticking, and to provide the mounting method of the external facing material in which mounting operation is facilitated. SOLUTION: In the external-facing material metal fittings 1, 2 for installing external facing materials 4 onto a wall body 3 as the exterior wall of a residence, the external-facing material receiving metal fittings 1 with wall-body mounting sections 11 mounted on the wall body 3 and external-facing material supporting sections 12 being set up to the wall-body mounting sections 11 and supporting sections to be engaged 41 (such as groove sections) formed to the side end sections 4a of the external facing materials 4, separating in fixed with from the wall-body mounting sections 11 from lower sections and the external-facing material pushing metal fitting 2 with a pushing section (such as an L-shaped section) pinching and fixing the sections to be engaged 41 by the external-facing material supporting sections 12 by pushing from the upper sections of the sections to be engaged 41 are installed.
