PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent record images from being displaced by dividing continuous image data among image data in a manner to make continuous image areas one area, controlling to drive a recording head on the basis of the divided image data and recording images. SOLUTION: Images are formed by an application of an image form apparatus 4. Data of the images is transferred from the application to a printer driver 5 of the image form apparatus 4. The printer driver 5 divides narrow image data among continuous image data which is narrower than a recording width of a recording head 2 in a manner to make continuous image areas of the image data one area so that the image data is recorded by one scanning of the recording head 2. Image data necessary for a first scanning of the divided image data is outputted to an image record apparatus 1, and the recording head 2 is controlled to drive, thereby recording by the first scanning.
