PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand an indoor space, to make compatible the properties of holding and getting-on/off, to improve these properties and to improve seat comfort. SOLUTION: On the left and right sides of a seat framework frame 1, plural spring bodies 15 are juxtaposed back and forth and the seat framework frame 1 is attached so as to be freely moved up and down by a front side arm 23 between the front side of the seat framework frame 1 and an attaching frame 21 freely moved or fixed to a car body, a rear side arm 26 between the rear side of the seat framework frame 1 and the attaching frame 21 and a vertical motion mechanism 26 having a rod 32 for operating the rear side arm 26. The spring body 15 is located at a prescribed interval below the upper edge of the side part of the seat framework frame 1.
