<p>The subject of invention is the process of recycling of tannin available in waste liquids derived directly or indirectly from the economical exploitation of timber. The process is important because a monomer containing at least one double carbon-carbon bond is admixed to the above mentioned waste liquid and a reaction catalyst is introduced into the mixture obtained from the waste liquid and the monomer with the aim to trigger polymerisation. A product obtained according to the previously mentioned process, which can be used as a tanning agent, is the subject of the invention too.</p> |
