PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multicolor pet food having such advantages that a relevant user can readily understand at a glance the contents of the main stock(s) or nutrient ingredients therein, a plurality of such nutrient ingredients as be needed for pets as found in meat, vegetables, dairy products, etc., are included together, and the user can readily check visually the above fact at a glance. SOLUTION: This multicolor bar-shaped pet food is obtained by the following steps: 1st step wherein three or more materials differing in color and nutrient from one another are fed under respective specified pressures; 2nd step: the materials thus fed are introduced into three or more closed vessels, respectively; 3rd step: the materials from these respective closed vessels are injected into the respective bar-shaped compartments of a molding pipe divided into the three or more bar-shaped compartments along the longitudinal direction and molded into elongated bars each with a specified cross sectional area, respectively, and 4th step: the respective bar-shaped materials thus extruded from the corresponding three or more bar-shaped compartments are mutually bound together and formed into a bar shape as a whole. The other objective apparatus is used for producing the above multicolor bar-shaped pet foods. |
