PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound useful for a diazo thermosensitive recording material taking a color from violet to cyan and excellent in shelf life, image preservability and image fixity. SOLUTION: This new compound is expressed by the formula [wherein R1, R2 and R4 are each H, a halogen, an aryl or the like; R3 is a (substituted) amino, OH or the like; and L is a releasable substituent when the compound reacts with a diazonium salt], e.g. 2-amino-3-phenylaminosulfonylcarbamoyl-6- chloro-7-(4-chlorophenyl)-8-(2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methyl)cyclohexyloxycarb onyl- pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrimidine which is obtained by reacting 2-amino-3- phenylaminosulfonylcarbamoyl-7-(4-chlorophenyl)-8-(2,6-di-t-butyl-4-me thyl) cyclohexyloxycarbonyl-pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrimidine with N-chlorosucinimide. |
