PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is installed between spokes to reduce noise and has a function of a monitoring device for a bicycle by providing a main body part having a first and a second side parts where a first and a second spoke storing recessed parts extending in a first and a second directions are formed, and making the first direction intersect the second direction. SOLUTION: This device fulfils two functions, a first one of which is to reduce noise during riding on a bicycle 10, a second one being to act as a part of a monitoring device 14. The device is disposed in an intersecting part of two spokes 19, and fixed between the spokes 19 by a pin. The main body part is a member made by an elliptical plastic material having a first side part where a first spoke storing recessed part is formed and a second side part where a second and a third spoke storing recessed parts are formed. A pair of spokes 19 are connected at their intersecting part to the main body, and a magnet forming as a part of the monitoring device 14 is connected to the main body part. Thus, noise due to bending of a wheel 16 can be reduced. |
