PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a port for feeding a combustible organic matter into a carbonization chamber, which port is highly sealable and therefore less problematic in e.g. the emission of odor, safety, or the like. SOLUTION: Provided is a port for introducing a combustible organic matter into a carbonization chamber, consisting of a combustible organic matter feed port frame 9 which rises nearly vertically along the surface of the wall of the chamber 1, a cover 8 which covers the opening of the frame 9 of the port, a rod-like shaft 10 secured to the cover 8, and a support member which supports the shaft 10 by at least two holes, wherein each hole 11 is an oblong one nearly vertical along the surface of the cover 8 so that the shaft 10 may move while it slides along the oblong hole.
