PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject material capable of nicely eliminating Emon (the neck of a kimono) without getting out of shape and capable of easily wear ing a Japanese dress in good silhouette. SOLUTION: This material 30 comprises a collar cloth 31, a string 32 for an undergarment, a string 33 for Japanese dress, and a string 34 for fixing use; wherein the collar cloth 31 is disposed on the back face side of the back- sewn site 4 of the undergarment 1 and the upper part 31b of the collar cloth 31 is attached to the vicinity of a rear collar attachment 3; the strings 32 and 33 are attached in the vicinity of the disposition height of a Miyatsuguchi 5 on the lower part of the collar cloth 31 disposed on the back-sewn site 4 of the undergarment 1 through transversely projecting their ends 32a, 32b, 33a, 33b and used in dressing the undergarment 1 and a Japanese dress 11, respectively; and the string 34 for fixing use, after threading arms through both the sleeves 8, 8 of the undergarment 1, is put out from the Miyatsuguchi 5 in front of the wearer's body so as to be bindable, and attached to, the disposition position for the string 32 on the collar cloth 31 through transversely projecting both the ends 34a, 34b of the string 34.
