PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the handling operability by connecting a mast base to a mast mounting base, mounting a mast, a lift cylinder and a lift pump on the mast base, mounting a mast locking body on the mast mounting base, and forming a lateral width of a loading surface of a loading space larger than a lateral mounting width of a stand fork. SOLUTION: In a lift truck comprising a mast 2 for vertically movably mounting a loading space 1, front and rear wheels, a lift cylinder 13 and a lift pump 19 for lifting the loading space 1, a mast base 12 is connected to a mast mounting base 5 provided with the front and rear wheels, through a fulcrum shaft 23, and the mast 2, the lift cylinder 13 and the lift pump 19 are mounted on the mast base 12. The mast base 12 is locked on the mast mounting base 5 at a mast 2 standing position or a forward laying position. A mast locking body 24 is mounted, and a lateral width of a loading surface 25 of the loading space 1 is formed larger than a lateral mounting width of a stand fork 4 connected to the mask mounting base 5 and provided with the front wheels, whereby the handling operability can be improved.
