HIGHLY VISIBLE GUIDE PLATE AND METHOD FOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retroreflective means which has a retroreflective visibility which is at least the same as in a conventional delineator, and can have its production costs and attaching work drastically reduced, in a structure arranged in parallel with a road. SOLUTION: There is provided a highly visible guide plate which has dotted projections 2 arranged at predetermined intervals on a single surface of a band plate 1 made of a metal or a synthetic resin, or corrugated projections sequentially aligned in a direction almost at right angle to the longitudinal direction of the band plate, and has a retroreflective film 3 formed at least on the surface of dotted projections 2 or corrugated projections with a glass bead as a reflector. Such a guide plate having a predetermined length is attached to a central concave portion of a guard rail on a surface facing a road.
