PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent which has excellent degreasing and detergency in the field of aqueous metal cleaning and prevents discoloration by oxidation with oxygen dissolved in water. SOLUTION: This solution comprises (A) 0.1-2 wt.% 10C terpene hydrocarbon or 0.1-5 wt.% 10C terpene alcohol, (B) 10-10,000 ppm of a hydroxylamine compound represented by formula I, (C) 0.1-15 wt.% glycol ether represented by formula II, and (D) 1-40 wt.% 1-7C alcohol. In formula I, R1 and R2 are each hydrogen, a 1-7C alkyl, a 2-7C alkenyl, a 1-4C alkanol group, or a cycloalkyl). In formula II: R1-(O-CnH2n)m-OR2, (R1 and R2 denote each hydrogen or a 1-10C alkyl and (n) is 2 or 3; and (m) is an integer of 1-3).
