PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in heat and solvent resistances, continuously retaining stabilized insect pest repellent performances over a long period, having safety for human bodies and useful for printed wiring boards, or the like, by supporting a pyrethroid compound or a phenolic antifungal agent on an inorganic layered compound. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by supporting (A) a pyrethroid compound (e.g.α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl d-cis/trans-chrysanthemate) or (B) a phenolic antifungal agent (e.g. o-phenylphenol or o-phenylphenol sodium) on (C) an inorganic layered compound. The ingredient A is preferably supported on a layered phosphate or a phyllosilicate or the ingredient B is preferably supported on a hydrotalcite compound. For example, the amount of the ingredient A or B based on the ingredient C is preferably about 0.1-50% expressed in terms of weight.
