<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mutually jointing reticulated nonwoven fabrics. SOLUTION: A ground fabric 22 containing a reticulated nonwoven fabric 16 is used as a pressing cloth in the press part of a paper machine. The ground fabric 22 or its layer is assembled in a combined state using at least one strip of the reticulated nonwoven fabric 16. An endless loop is formed in an assembled state by spirally winding the nonwoven fabric 16 plural times so as not to be mutually overlapped, by winding the nonwoven fabric 16 so as for each turn to contact with previously wound turns or by winding the nonwoven fabric 16 so as for each turn to combine with previously wound turns. After forming the group of endless loops each having the same length using the strip of the nonwoven fabric 16, they may be contacted in a juxtapositional state. The endless loops placed side by side are combined with one another, and the ground fabric having an endless form, or its component is provided.</p> |
