PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt brushing device which is capable of easily dealing with frequent changes in the sizes of bolts even in the case of such changes, keeps the bolts free from thrust load at the time of brushing and is capable of prolonging the life of a brush. SOLUTION: This bolt brushing device has plural turnable L-shaped arms 27 which are pivotally supported by pins 29 disposed to intersect orthogonally with the axial direction of a rotor 13 by spacing approximately equal intervals along the circumferential direction of the rotor 13, the brushes 15 which are mounted at the one-side ends of the arms 27 and arm turning means which turn the other ends of the arms 27 around the pins 29. The arm turning means have rotatable bearings 32 disposed at the other ends of the arms 27, a pair of arm turning plates 36 and 37 which are disposed to face each other across the outer rings of the bearings 32 by having required spacings from the outer rings and on either of which the outer rings can abut, and advancing and retreating means 42 which advance and retreat a pair of the arm turning plates 36 and 37 in the axial direction of the rotor 13. |
