PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending processing method enabling pipe bending processing for performing the heating of a thermoplastic resin pipe efficiently while suppressing the surface deterioration of the resin pipe, high in productivity, and capable of reducing equipment cost than ever. SOLUTION: A process wherein a thermoplastic resin pipe is put in a hermetically closed container 1 and pressure steam is injected in the hermetically closed container to heat and soften the thermoplastic resin pipe, a process for taking out the thermoplastic resin pipe from the hermetically closed container 1 to introduce the same into a bending processing split-cavity mold split up and down from one end receiving port thereof to the other end receiving port thereof and a process for cooling the thermoplastic resin pipe to take out the same from the split-cavity mold are adapted to perform the bending processing of the thermoplastic resin pipe along the bending shape of the split-cavity mold.
