PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antibacterial films excellent in antibacterial properties and mildew resistance, having excellent durability such as retention of the mildew resistance and no change of appearance even after dipping in boiling water, and excellent in transparency, surface smoothness, handling properties, and abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: A film contains an antibacterial composition in at least one side of the surface layers, and the change in haze of the film before and after dipping in boiling water for 100 hours is not more than 1.0% per 10μm film thickness and, at the same time, the mildew resistance indications of the film by the evaluation method according to JPS Z2911 6.2.2 before and after dipping in boiling water for 100 hours are both not less than 2, and substantially there is no projection having a height of not more than 1μm in the antibacterial surface layer of at least one side of the film and the number of projections having a height of 0.27μm to less than 0.54μm is 50/mm2 to less than 5,000/mm2.
